The Print Group Australia worked closely with local company Pharmaquip to revamp their current logo. As the client’s products are offered in retail stores, we wanted to take a closer look at their competitors logo and packaging colours to offer a design and colour that really stood out from the rest. Offering the client a variety of initial design concepts, with colour and font variations, the client had the opportunity to choose particular design concepts from each, to ultimately reach the final design.
From there we began the design of their first product tag. The template will be implemented in their entire product line. Initially the clients product tags were printed in-house on standard 80gsm paper stock. They were A5 in size and roll folded. The client wanted a sturdy, quality tag that could be secured to the products without compromising the quality of the tag in transit to the retail stores. The Print Group Australia offered an A6 folded tag option, for ease of reading the product information for the customer. Printed full colour, double sided, on a hardy 400gsm art board, then gloss celloglazed on both sides, the product tag would be protected from damage and offer a professional image. To ensure the tag would not tear from the products, two metal eyelets were applied and would ultimately be secured with an elasticised tie.
