It has always been such a great event for us and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting all of the attendees and talking about all things design and print for RTOs.
The event is really a must for the team at The Print Group Australia as most of our clients are RTOs (Registered Training Organisations). We were busy showcasing our training material printing, foiled/embossed certificates, anti-copy security paper and marketing and business stationery options. The highlight was really showing the RTOs the benefits of our print on demand systems we offer for training material printing and we received amazing feedback on our square edge fold saddle-stitched booklets and our perforated paper stock that we now offer for assessment printing.

Designing your logo is typically the first step in creating a brand identity for your new business and The Print Group Australia’s design team can create an eye-catching design that will be sure to make an impressive statement.
LOGO DESIGN
After a design brief and meeting, The Print Group Australia’s design team can create up to 3 variations of a logo design concept for your review. Once the concept is reviewed, the logo can be adjusted for further proofing, until you are happy with the final design. We design and supply the logo in all of the formats required for online and print use. Most logos are supplied as a vector file (eps), illustrator file (ia), high and low resolution jpeg (jpeg) and pdf files. Also depending on how your logo has been designed, the files would also indicate RGB colours for web use and CMYK and/or spot colours for printed use. See more information in our blog titled “rgb, cmyk and spot colours” regarding the difference. Also read more about setting a style guide for your business in our blog “what is a style guide”.
In the fast moving pace of this digital era, there are some things that simply get lost in the hype of texts, emails, facebook posts, tweets and skype messages… the art of the hand written thank you note is one of those things. People are busy, the world is moving at a faster pace than it used to, so why not just slow it down for moment. Instead of, or as well as sending an email or a text to say thank you, send your client, prospect or supplier a hand written thank you note.
Hand written thank you notes and cards are often seen as a thing of the past, but can have quite a powerful result. Whether it’s in a business or social setting, you will be amazed at how people can react to a handwritten note.
If you have 500 emails in your inbox, and two hand written thank you notes on your desk, which do you think is going to stand out the most? For the most part an email can never mean as much as some well chosen words inscribed on paper.
Pick up a pen, and honestly and sincerely thank someone for their time, or their gift, or for their business.
The Print Group Australia can produce a variety of personalised corporate stationery that will assist you in saying thank you!
Read MoreEnvelopes come in a variety of shapes, sizes and paper stocks. Whether you are looking to match your business stationery suite with specialty paper stock or looking for a custom made size to suit your needs, the options are quite extensive. The standard range of sizes include DL, DLX, C4, C5, C6, plus many more.
Here we will look closely at the most common range of envelopes used in Australia. The “C Series” has been formulated to fit the “A Series” paper sizes, which we discuss further here. It is also quite a simple and logical system and we have included our envelope size chart below for your reference.
• C6 envelope fits an A6 sheet, A5 sheet folded in half or A4 sheet folded into quarters.
• C5 envelope fits an A5 sheet or A4 sheet folded in half
• C4 envelope fits an A4 sheet, or A3 sheet folded in half
• DL envelope fits an A4 sheet folded in thirds
So, a C4 envelope will fit an A4 size sheet, C5 for A5 and C6 for A6, and so on. The DL envelope is however, an exception to this rule.
DL stands for dimension lengthwise and is a common size for envelopes and promotional materials such as brochures and flyers. The “C Series” defines DL size to be 100mm × 210mm, which is also exactly a third the size of an A4. The DLX envelope is 120mm x 235mm, which is slightly larger than the DL envelope and is commonly used for mail outs as it fits more documents than the DL.
