Case binding is the most common binding method for hard cover books. Case bound covers can be made of cloth, vinyl, leather or printed paper secured over cardboard then attached to the internal pages using glued-on endpapers. With case binding, the internal pages of the book are sewn or stitched together in page order, then attached to the hard covers.
